Old Skool Sunday: Pacman!

Welcome to our newest feature, the Old Skool Sunday!  Each sunday we are uploading a retro game from the golden years of computer gaming for you to play again right here for free.  What better way to kick off the feature than with the most celebrated game of all time. Pac-man!  This game is 32 years old! The flash remake here has kept its original charm perfectly!


What we want to know, is if the flash version has the level 256 bug that the original did. If anyone can confirm it, we'll send you a box of old skool candies!  We cant say more than that!

Unless you've had your head in the sand all your life. This should be a very similar screen.  What to do? Well just get round the whole maze eating the dots. In the corners are some bigger dots, which are pills.  They turn you into a foaming at the mouth ghost killer! The ghosts will be scared of you!  So you can kill them! But remember, you can't kill something that is already dead. So the 'killed' ghost will return to the centre and be out for revenge! 

That's it, once you've eaten all the dots on the game, you'll go onto the next level. Where you have to do it again, and again, and again :)  That's how it was back in our days lads!  That entertained us for hours!  

Anyway, enjoy! Tell all your mates that you've been playing pacman today. The real one! Not that rubbish one Google did a couple of years ago!

Showcase! Penguin Slice Valentine

At 3am this morning whilst dreaming I was Sonic the Hedgehog, I was interrupted by a phone call. "Is that Addicting Flash Arcade Games?  We've got it! You're going to love it, we've got Penguin Slice Valentine!"    Ooooh no, not another valentines day flash game!! What, did you say Penguin Slice? The very popular game out for the Iphone? The one that is just like Angry Birds?!  Rock and Roll!

You know you've got a good game when it takes a little while to load.

You know you've got a VERY good game when they even give you a mini game to play whilst its loading!

You know you've got something special when you get a random animation before the game starts!

Sorry for the long intro guys, but we present to you on Showcase,  Penguin Slice Valentine!!

We spent hours on Angry Bird and finished every single level. So we're very excited to see a clone with a slight difference.  Instead of launching anything. Your job is to use the mouse to slice away at some of the terrain, causing it collapse, causing the penguins to fall and to be squashed.  Easy huh?  Well not quite. Some terrain doesnt slash, and there are some innocent strange pig things with dummies in their mouths.  Kill one of those and you fail the level.  So before you get happy slashing, youre going to have to think pretty carefully about what will happen.

This game has tonnes of levels! Some you'll finish on the first attempt, some will keep you agitated for a while.  Like Angry Birds, if you go away, dont worry. It saves your progress automatically so you can jump straight back to the later levels. Dont forget to click the Add to Favorites on the top bar. Or even better, Share it with your friends on Facebook so they can play too.

The game does have some walkthroughs if you are completely stuck, however we did notice something that seems consistent throughout that you should know.   Gravity makes things fall downwards, ok got that?  Thats downwards because of Gravity.  Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine.   Oh and those pink baby pig things are delicate little souls, so look after them. 

Our only grievence with the game is the background sound, the penguins are constantly laughing at us.  So we tried using the mouse to just slice their heads off to shut them up. But sadly that wouldnt work.

Showcase! Puzzle Bobble

Hello gamers, and welcome to Addicting Flash Arcade Games new feature, The Showcase!!

What is showcase?  This is where we hand pick a popular addictive game that we think (and hope!) that you'll like.

Today's showcase is Puzzle Bobble. We were going to add this to Old Skool Sunday, but we just couldn't wait until then! Also known as Bust A Move, we have the characters from all time greatest retro game ever, Bubble Bobble!

So, what are we doing? well your shooting coloured bubbles up at the ceiling and aiming them at the same coloured bubbles which are already there?  Why would you want to do that? Well I have absolutely no idea, but when you get a lot of coloured bubbles together they kinda pop a bit and the game goes "Yaaay!"  So just keep doing it and the game is happy! Plus you will score more points and then can brag to all your mates how much better you are than them!

There is a lot to this game, and the flash remake is very good. It kept us busy for a while anyway.  You can bounce the balls off the walls to get them into place. Just don't let too many bubbles stack up, otherwise if you run out of space, it is game over.  Also after some time passes, everything gets wobbly. Its not you're eyes, its the roof falling in, and it will drop down a level making it harder and harder.


Tips.  Keep an eye on what is coming next.  Try and match and burst colours from the top, as any subsequent ones underneath will perish also.

Wedding Kissing - Valentines Special!

Oh no! It's that time of year again! Valentines Day is just around the corner. That time of year, where if you're single, you feel lonely and broken hearted.  Whereas if you're in a relationship, then its your wallet that ends up broke!


So here at Addicting Flash Arcade Games, we have something to amuse the masses!  Amusing, because we have a really really crap game here for you today. Addiction factor is probably zero, but amusement factor is high, because it is, so naff!


Set in a parallel dimension where kissing is outlawed (even for newly weds).   Your task is to kiss the Mrs (or the Mr if you're a girl) as much as you can without being spotted by bystanders. If you are caught, then you are savagely attacked and brutally killed by a wild pack of flesh eating bears and alligators.  Sadly the game developers ran of money and were unable to code that part. So will have to leave that to your imagination.

Level 1 starts with some sloppiness on the beach.  Its disgusting! There are kids around! In fact, there are even kids drowning!  That's how you distract that busy body woman who comes closer to catch some of the kissing action.   Click on the drowning kid, where sadly she then rescues him. Then as soon as she is busy doing that, you can get back your tonsil tennis!  Click on the hint at the bottom which will tell you what to click to distract who.

Level two has you in front of the congregation. Wedding photographer is there, the priest is there, and another nice couple are all there witnessing your big day!  But remember, this is an alternate universe where kissing is outlawed!  Un-phased by the threats of a gory death if caught, the sneaky couple wanna give it large!  So keep distracting the pervy photographer by clicking on his phone to make it ring. Distract the priest by clicking the church bell and making that ring too.

Space & Arrows

Its a very cold start to February here in Northern Europe. The home of AddictingFlashArcadeGames.com

So put the heating on, and wait out the winter by playing some cool addicting flash games :)  

Today we review a particularly cool game. You're getting 5 minigames for the price of 1.  Well seeing as all our games on our site are free, that's five games for free as well!!  

Space and Arrows is a pretty cool game. You can play to get as many points as possible, or play challenges to unlock even more games.  All designed to get that brain of yours working!

Game 1 is the typical watch closely whilst a particular card is moved around and then say where it is.
Game 2 is the trick of the colours. A word written down in a different colour than it actually is. Read the words not the colour!
Game 3 is a fun game, build the blocks up to the top, keeping a perfect stack, dont loose any! the more you loose the harder it gets!!
Game 4 you have to grab the baloons before they get too high and pop on the spikes.
Game 5 you have to trun letters around in a word to make it a proper word. (see what we did there with a deliberate typo? )


There are more games to unlock too. We havent succeeded because we're rubbish at playing games. But I am sure you can, then please let us know what the other games that you unlock are like under the comments!
