We just loved this Angry Birds inspired game! And so did you, staying in the charts in third place is Penguin Slice Valentines. You the mouse to chop away at the platforms and let the birds drop and smash. But becareful not to hit the baby pig things. Otherwise you won't win the level.  This is very good quality flash game. The laughing in the background got a bit annoying though.

Knocked off the top spot this month is Bash The Computer.  A game inspired by that dude who shot his daughters laptop for posting nasty things about him on Facebook, This excellent amusing little game, where you click on elements of the PC to punch and slap it as hard as you can. The more you click the more damaged it gets.  Fantastic stress relief game if your own computer is playing silly buggers!  you guys are still loving it!!

Well your morbid lot!!  Is it Time has just creeped in there, knocking off Bash The Computer from the top spot, and remains the most played game on Addicting Flash Arcade Games!

Based on a true story, Is It Time is about an old lonely woman who has to deal with day to day problems of being old and nearly at the end of her life. Her daughter only has time to stop by to drop food off in the fridge (if you're lucky) and there really isn't anything to do. The TV even breaks down. Then you start having flashbacks, and start passing out. At the end of each day, the game asks Is It Time. With your late husband willing you to join him in the afterlife.   Despite the cruddy graphics and terrible sound, this game is really heart warming, and if you have the patience (because it is boring being old!) then you'll realise the message this game portrays.  Go and see your granny!!!!

Hangar 2 Endless Level pack

Happy St Patricks day gamers.  There was a St Patricks day game on the site, but we're well too excited about Hangar 2 to even look at it.  


OK so what is it? Well you're a guy who can't walk. But can throw ropes spider man style and swing around. Your job is to swing yourself to the end of each level being careful of obstacles that may get in your way.  If you hit an obstacle pretty hard you might lose a limb or two. So don't do that.


There is a bit of gore on this game.. thats if you find red pixels falling out of a rag doll upsetting, in which case steer clear. But you'll be too busy navigating the physics of this game to even notice, or care.  

We absolutely love games like this, its just the physics and the awesome playability.  Unlike a lot of flash games, each level will give you different colours and styles to keep you enthralled. Some levels are hard on the eyes, but that's the idea. 


There are 24 levels in total, and if you beat them, you can go for the never ending level and just swing around to your hearts content.


Don't drop out of the bottom of the screen, you will fall into an abyss of nothingness and die.  You can fall so far, so get ready to throw a rope if you are low on the screen.  You can actually swing yourself all the way round, do a full 360 if you get the space, and can actually fling yourself over the top of the screen to almost cheat your way on some of the levels where its possible. 


We found level 2 very difficult, but after that, things get easier (or maybe we just got to grips with the game!).  


Use the left and right arrow keys to do the swinging and hit space to launch a rope, and space to let go of the rope.  I'm not sure if it made a difference or not, but i was aiming ropes by hitting the up and right arrows then hitting space.  That'll throw a rope at an angle rather than straight up. Something you need to do sometimes!

This is one of our personal favourites. Old Skool Sunday title that made it into Number 7 on our charts this month. I think its a bit high up because we have played it so much! Ooops!   This is Rock Rush 2, a boulderdash clone from the old days of the C64. Splendid background music and levels that are so tough you'll be needing our number 1 entry to vent your frustration after playing it!  Collect diamonds but don't let them fall on your head! Oh and watch out for boulders and nasty blobby things too!

Old Skool Sunday; Super Mario Bros

Hello Gamers! What a week this has been! Busy busy busy, and its Sunday again all ready. That can only mean one thing.  Its time to go retro!! Old Skool Sunday is in service once again!


A couple of weeks ago, we ran a poll over on our Facebook Page  Mario Vs Sonic.  You voted, and it was close. Sonic was leading for a time, but Mario was the winner. Not surprising considering that for 20 years it was the best selling game of all time. I honestly don't think any game has inspired the world like Mario did.  Yeah sure, Sonic is all spinny and stuff. But Mario is just cool. Its simple game play, its catchy music just took the world by storm, and no one will ever let go of it!


So how excited we were when we found the flash version of the game, to put up on the site for everyone to play for free!!?  Very.  We loved the fact that the flash game hasn't taken any charm from the original, which unfortunately tends to happen with flash remakes.

Old Skool Sunday! Boulderdash

Hello Flash Gamers!  And welcome to Sunday! That day where you have nothing to do, and dreading having to go to work again tomorrow.  Well here we have something that will definitely cheer you up!

Its Retro Arcade time on Addicting Flash Arcade Games, Old Skool Sunday is back with an old game from the glorious days of the Commodore 64. Its a re-work of Boulderdash called Rock Rush Classic!  This game is actually bloody difficult so should keep you so busy, and incredibly frustrated that you'll be glad to be back at work tomorrow in order to relax again.

We absolutely loved this version, it keeps the original 8 bit charm, even has a mock up of a C64 loading screen. Interestingly though it has a very Amiga sounding background track which will help soothe and chill you out when you get flatterned by boulders.

There is a level skip which is a good thing because we got stuck on Level 1. Yes I know, how embarrassing!  But the further levels are not quite so difficult, and once you complete a level it remembers, so you can always come back and carry on from where you left off.

Ok if you're 13 years of age you might not remember the boulderdash series.   So here we go. You are digging through a cave and you need to find diamonds and get to the exit.  There are some heavy boulders which can either help or hindrance you.  If they fall on your head, it hurts a bit, so don't let that happen.  Diamonds also hurt if they fall on you, but are fabulous to collect. Infact you need to collect a certain amount in order to get through the exit.  Be aware of strange blue square things. Some come after you, some continue in a pattern. Don't stand next to them, they are kamikaze suicidal maniacs and will explode taking you with them.   The blobby things however may also provide you with assistance as their explosions knock out walls which you may need to get through. So let them follow you and let a rock drop on them for laughs.

If you are stuck, the game has built in links to walkthroughs, which are hosted on another pesky gaming site. (You make sure you come back here to the best one!!)

Some levels have ever expanding gooey stuff. The trick is to trap the gooey stuff so it cant expand any more. Then all the goo will turn into diamonds! I had some goo once, and no matter how much I tried to compress it, it just didn't turn into diamonds and make me rich.

Bad Memory Escape X - Walkthrough

Happy Valentines Day gamers!


As its valentines day, and as we have already featured a valentines game earlier. You'll be glad to know that today we're going to feature a game which has absolutely nothing to do with Valentines Day!  So if you are Forever Alone and want to get your head stuck into a puzzle adventure, then look no further, than this beaut we  have for you today!


We present, the latest installment of Bad Memory Escape X

So you wake up in a room, with the only memory that you were going to drive to a mates house.  You pray to god that the TV, or the PC or some dodgy looking wiring never sets on fire, because to get out of this house isn't as straight forward as opening the door! Oh no!  There is a secret combination to be found, which in order to find that, you need to unravel other mysteries to find parts of the combination.  Then, just as you've succeeded in that, your legs wont work and you cant actually walk, so you have to figure out how to find the key to the golf buggy awaiting for you in the garage.

To play the game you just click around like a mad man. Pay attention to the arrows at the bottom as they show you where to go. The game isn't too huge so you won't get lost, and should keep you amused for about 30 minutes whilst you figure it out.  If you're stuck don't click on the walkthrough button, as it wont link you to the walkthrough! Instead read on!!

Old Skool Sunday: Pacman!

Welcome to our newest feature, the Old Skool Sunday!  Each sunday we are uploading a retro game from the golden years of computer gaming for you to play again right here for free.  What better way to kick off the feature than with the most celebrated game of all time. Pac-man!  This game is 32 years old! The flash remake here has kept its original charm perfectly!


What we want to know, is if the flash version has the level 256 bug that the original did. If anyone can confirm it, we'll send you a box of old skool candies!  We cant say more than that!

Unless you've had your head in the sand all your life. This should be a very similar screen.  What to do? Well just get round the whole maze eating the dots. In the corners are some bigger dots, which are pills.  They turn you into a foaming at the mouth ghost killer! The ghosts will be scared of you!  So you can kill them! But remember, you can't kill something that is already dead. So the 'killed' ghost will return to the centre and be out for revenge! 

That's it, once you've eaten all the dots on the game, you'll go onto the next level. Where you have to do it again, and again, and again :)  That's how it was back in our days lads!  That entertained us for hours!  

Anyway, enjoy! Tell all your mates that you've been playing pacman today. The real one! Not that rubbish one Google did a couple of years ago!

Showcase! Penguin Slice Valentine

At 3am this morning whilst dreaming I was Sonic the Hedgehog, I was interrupted by a phone call. "Is that Addicting Flash Arcade Games?  We've got it! You're going to love it, we've got Penguin Slice Valentine!"    Ooooh no, not another valentines day flash game!! What, did you say Penguin Slice? The very popular game out for the Iphone? The one that is just like Angry Birds?!  Rock and Roll!

You know you've got a good game when it takes a little while to load.

You know you've got a VERY good game when they even give you a mini game to play whilst its loading!

You know you've got something special when you get a random animation before the game starts!

Sorry for the long intro guys, but we present to you on Showcase,  Penguin Slice Valentine!!

We spent hours on Angry Bird and finished every single level. So we're very excited to see a clone with a slight difference.  Instead of launching anything. Your job is to use the mouse to slice away at some of the terrain, causing it collapse, causing the penguins to fall and to be squashed.  Easy huh?  Well not quite. Some terrain doesnt slash, and there are some innocent strange pig things with dummies in their mouths.  Kill one of those and you fail the level.  So before you get happy slashing, youre going to have to think pretty carefully about what will happen.

This game has tonnes of levels! Some you'll finish on the first attempt, some will keep you agitated for a while.  Like Angry Birds, if you go away, dont worry. It saves your progress automatically so you can jump straight back to the later levels. Dont forget to click the Add to Favorites on the top bar. Or even better, Share it with your friends on Facebook so they can play too.

The game does have some walkthroughs if you are completely stuck, however we did notice something that seems consistent throughout that you should know.   Gravity makes things fall downwards, ok got that?  Thats downwards because of Gravity.  Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine.   Oh and those pink baby pig things are delicate little souls, so look after them. 

Our only grievence with the game is the background sound, the penguins are constantly laughing at us.  So we tried using the mouse to just slice their heads off to shut them up. But sadly that wouldnt work.

Showcase! Puzzle Bobble

Hello gamers, and welcome to Addicting Flash Arcade Games new feature, The Showcase!!

What is showcase?  This is where we hand pick a popular addictive game that we think (and hope!) that you'll like.

Today's showcase is Puzzle Bobble. We were going to add this to Old Skool Sunday, but we just couldn't wait until then! Also known as Bust A Move, we have the characters from all time greatest retro game ever, Bubble Bobble!

So, what are we doing? well your shooting coloured bubbles up at the ceiling and aiming them at the same coloured bubbles which are already there?  Why would you want to do that? Well I have absolutely no idea, but when you get a lot of coloured bubbles together they kinda pop a bit and the game goes "Yaaay!"  So just keep doing it and the game is happy! Plus you will score more points and then can brag to all your mates how much better you are than them!

There is a lot to this game, and the flash remake is very good. It kept us busy for a while anyway.  You can bounce the balls off the walls to get them into place. Just don't let too many bubbles stack up, otherwise if you run out of space, it is game over.  Also after some time passes, everything gets wobbly. Its not you're eyes, its the roof falling in, and it will drop down a level making it harder and harder.


Tips.  Keep an eye on what is coming next.  Try and match and burst colours from the top, as any subsequent ones underneath will perish also.

Wedding Kissing - Valentines Special!

Oh no! It's that time of year again! Valentines Day is just around the corner. That time of year, where if you're single, you feel lonely and broken hearted.  Whereas if you're in a relationship, then its your wallet that ends up broke!


So here at Addicting Flash Arcade Games, we have something to amuse the masses!  Amusing, because we have a really really crap game here for you today. Addiction factor is probably zero, but amusement factor is high, because it is, so naff!


Set in a parallel dimension where kissing is outlawed (even for newly weds).   Your task is to kiss the Mrs (or the Mr if you're a girl) as much as you can without being spotted by bystanders. If you are caught, then you are savagely attacked and brutally killed by a wild pack of flesh eating bears and alligators.  Sadly the game developers ran of money and were unable to code that part. So will have to leave that to your imagination.

Level 1 starts with some sloppiness on the beach.  Its disgusting! There are kids around! In fact, there are even kids drowning!  That's how you distract that busy body woman who comes closer to catch some of the kissing action.   Click on the drowning kid, where sadly she then rescues him. Then as soon as she is busy doing that, you can get back your tonsil tennis!  Click on the hint at the bottom which will tell you what to click to distract who.

Level two has you in front of the congregation. Wedding photographer is there, the priest is there, and another nice couple are all there witnessing your big day!  But remember, this is an alternate universe where kissing is outlawed!  Un-phased by the threats of a gory death if caught, the sneaky couple wanna give it large!  So keep distracting the pervy photographer by clicking on his phone to make it ring. Distract the priest by clicking the church bell and making that ring too.

Space and Arrows is a pretty cool game. You can play to get as many points as possible, or play challenges to unlock even more games.  All designed to get that brain of yours working!

Game 1 is the typical watch closely whilst a particular card is moved around and then say where it is.
Game 2 is the trick of the colours. A word written down in a different colour than it actually is. Read the words not the colour!
Game 3 is a fun game, build the blocks up to the top, keeping a perfect stack, dont loose any! the more you loose the harder it gets!!
Game 4 you have to grab the baloons before they get too high and pop on the spikes.
Game 5 you have to trun letters around in a word to make it a proper word. (see what we did there with a deliberate typo? )


There are more games to unlock too. We havent succeeded because we're rubbish at playing games. But I am sure you can, then please let us know what the other games that you unlock are like under the comments!

I want you dead, Santa!

Hello Gamers!


Despite the fact February is still around the corner, it seems some people are still pissed off about their last lousy Christmas.  Well, in that case why not take your frustrations out on a Santa Teddy Bear with the gruesome game of, I want you dead, Santa! 


Even if you had a great Christmas, just imagine that the character on this game is someone you really hate.  Someone should make a customisable version where you can upload pictures of those you dislike, so you can whack em around and cause them pain.


Although Addicting Flash Arcade Games is family friendly, you may want to just check this game before letting your kids play it.  The graphics are cartoony but hurling santa head first towards a spinning blade does cause a little bit of blood, and squishing him between two pulsating clampers does cause a few bones to fly around the place!

The aim of the game is to cause as much pain as possible. Pain = Points. As well as pulling santa around, you can also pull other objects around to land on top of him.  

Our advice is to skip the first level. It seems quite hard to actually do much, but delve into Level 2 onwards and enjoy the fun, enjoy the noise, and enjoy causing ruthless brutal pain you will cause to poor old Santa!  Relieve your frustrations!!

8 Bit Retro: FRED

New on Addicting Flash Arcade Games today is an 8 Bit Retro game. Those familiar with the ZX Spectrum computers from the 80s will understand this title perfectly!  Those not so familiar with the ZX Spectrum will get a swift lesson in what games used to be like for us old people!


The first stumbling block in this game is actually figuring out how to start the damned thing!  Old games were not so user friendly, and the fact half of it is in Spanish also adds to the fun!! So to save you the hassle, then press number 1 and number 4 on the keyboard and you'll be off! 

You're controlling this character called Fred around Tootie Carmoons tomb in Egypt. Collect the treasures and watch out for the nasty ghosties.  You have a pistol with you to shoot the ghosties away. Strange spider things run along the ground which you can jump over.


The game ends when you're dead or have collected all the treasure. Though we never managed to collect all the treasure, perhaps you can!
