We are excited as well for the new zombie game heading out soon from Radiant Silver Labs. People are going crazy about this one! It is one of the most searched for flash games according to Google. So its no surprise that despite us not even advertising this game, its made it into the Top Ten. Straight in at number 8.












7. Boulder Dash - Rock Rush 2 - http://addictingflasharcadegames.com/rock-rush-classic-2/

This is one of our personal favourites. Old Skool Sunday title that made it into Number 7 on our charts this month. I think its a bit high up because we have played it so much! Ooops!   This is Rock Rush 2, a boulderdash clone from the old days of the C64. Splendid background music and levels that are so tough you'll be needing our number 1 entry to vent your frustration after playing it!  Collect diamonds but don't let them fall on your head! Oh and watch out for boulders and nasty blobby things too!

Well well well! Now we're getting quite worried about the types of folk we are getting around here! Body dumper tells the story of a guy who with a big truck. He's murdered a few people and needs to drive them to the edge of a cliff to throw them off!  You guys like dumping bodies! So its made it into number 6!

February was valentines month. So the romantic story of One and One, about a boy and a girl coming together despite obstacles and distances. This is a fantastic platform game, with some tricky challenges, as well as telling a story of luuuuuuurve!  You'll love this game for the platforming and puzzle aspect even if you're not soppy!

So not only do you guys like throwing bodies off cliffs , you also like bashing around a santa teddy bear throwing him into chainsaws, smushing rocks and boulders and watching his head come off. The more pain the better the score!  This is a great game to relieve a bit of tension, better to pretend the santa teddy is someone you really dislike!

We just loved this Angry Birds inspired game! And so did you, in at number 3, Penguin Slice Valentines. You the mouse to chop away at the platforms and let the birds drop and smash. But becareful not to hit the baby pig things. Otherwise you won't win the level.  This is very good quality flash game. The laughing in the background got a bit annoying though.

Based on a true story, Is It Time is about an old lonely woman who has to deal with day to day problems of being old and nearly at the end of her life. Her daughter only has time to stop by to drop food off in the fridge (if you're lucky) and there really isn't anything to do. The TV even breaks down. Then you start having flashbacks, and start passing out. At the end of each day, the game asks Is It Time. With your late husband willing you to join him in the afterlife.   Despite the cruddy graphics and terrible sound, this game is really heart warming, and if you have the patience (because it is boring being old!) then you'll realise the message this game portrays.  Go and see your granny!!!!  It hit number 2 on the charts this month, so I really hope many of you did do just that after playing it!

When we heard about that dude who shot his daughters laptop for posting nasty things about him on Facebook, we just had to put something on the site to give you guys the opportunity to shoot at computers. But keeping it safe within a flash game! We didn't quite find a shooting one, but we did find this excellent amusing little game, where you click on elements of the PC to punch and slap it as hard as you can. The more you click the more damaged it gets.  Fantastic stress relief game if your own computer is playing silly buggers!  you guys loved it! Straight in to number 1, a clear winner on our site and was so popular, it nearly crashed the hosting provider.. twice!




We are very much looking forward to March! Plenty new games will be out! At the end of march we will run our charts again to see what are the best addictive flash web games on the internet! And they are all, right here on Addicting Flash Arcade Games . com  You have no need to go anywhere else!

Old Skool Sunday; Super Mario Bros

Hello Gamers! What a week this has been! Busy busy busy, and its Sunday again all ready. That can only mean one thing.  Its time to go retro!! Old Skool Sunday is in service once again!


A couple of weeks ago, we ran a poll over on our Facebook Page  Mario Vs Sonic.  You voted, and it was close. Sonic was leading for a time, but Mario was the winner. Not surprising considering that for 20 years it was the best selling game of all time. I honestly don't think any game has inspired the world like Mario did.  Yeah sure, Sonic is all spinny and stuff. But Mario is just cool. Its simple game play, its catchy music just took the world by storm, and no one will ever let go of it!


So how excited we were when we found the flash version of the game, to put up on the site for everyone to play for free!!?  Very.  We loved the fact that the flash game hasn't taken any charm from the original, which unfortunately tends to happen with flash remakes.

Old Skool Sunday! Boulderdash

Hello Flash Gamers!  And welcome to Sunday! That day where you have nothing to do, and dreading having to go to work again tomorrow.  Well here we have something that will definitely cheer you up!

Its Retro Arcade time on Addicting Flash Arcade Games, Old Skool Sunday is back with an old game from the glorious days of the Commodore 64. Its a re-work of Boulderdash called Rock Rush Classic!  This game is actually bloody difficult so should keep you so busy, and incredibly frustrated that you'll be glad to be back at work tomorrow in order to relax again.

We absolutely loved this version, it keeps the original 8 bit charm, even has a mock up of a C64 loading screen. Interestingly though it has a very Amiga sounding background track which will help soothe and chill you out when you get flatterned by boulders.

There is a level skip which is a good thing because we got stuck on Level 1. Yes I know, how embarrassing!  But the further levels are not quite so difficult, and once you complete a level it remembers, so you can always come back and carry on from where you left off.

Ok if you're 13 years of age you might not remember the boulderdash series.   So here we go. You are digging through a cave and you need to find diamonds and get to the exit.  There are some heavy boulders which can either help or hindrance you.  If they fall on your head, it hurts a bit, so don't let that happen.  Diamonds also hurt if they fall on you, but are fabulous to collect. Infact you need to collect a certain amount in order to get through the exit.  Be aware of strange blue square things. Some come after you, some continue in a pattern. Don't stand next to them, they are kamikaze suicidal maniacs and will explode taking you with them.   The blobby things however may also provide you with assistance as their explosions knock out walls which you may need to get through. So let them follow you and let a rock drop on them for laughs.

If you are stuck, the game has built in links to walkthroughs, which are hosted on another pesky gaming site. (You make sure you come back here to the best one!!)

Some levels have ever expanding gooey stuff. The trick is to trap the gooey stuff so it cant expand any more. Then all the goo will turn into diamonds! I had some goo once, and no matter how much I tried to compress it, it just didn't turn into diamonds and make me rich.

Bad Memory Escape X - Walkthrough

Happy Valentines Day gamers!


As its valentines day, and as we have already featured a valentines game earlier. You'll be glad to know that today we're going to feature a game which has absolutely nothing to do with Valentines Day!  So if you are Forever Alone and want to get your head stuck into a puzzle adventure, then look no further, than this beaut we  have for you today!


We present, the latest installment of Bad Memory Escape X

So you wake up in a room, with the only memory that you were going to drive to a mates house.  You pray to god that the TV, or the PC or some dodgy looking wiring never sets on fire, because to get out of this house isn't as straight forward as opening the door! Oh no!  There is a secret combination to be found, which in order to find that, you need to unravel other mysteries to find parts of the combination.  Then, just as you've succeeded in that, your legs wont work and you cant actually walk, so you have to figure out how to find the key to the golf buggy awaiting for you in the garage.

To play the game you just click around like a mad man. Pay attention to the arrows at the bottom as they show you where to go. The game isn't too huge so you won't get lost, and should keep you amused for about 30 minutes whilst you figure it out.  If you're stuck don't click on the walkthrough button, as it wont link you to the walkthrough! Instead read on!!

Old Skool Sunday: Pacman!

Welcome to our newest feature, the Old Skool Sunday!  Each sunday we are uploading a retro game from the golden years of computer gaming for you to play again right here for free.  What better way to kick off the feature than with the most celebrated game of all time. Pac-man!  This game is 32 years old! The flash remake here has kept its original charm perfectly!


What we want to know, is if the flash version has the level 256 bug that the original did. If anyone can confirm it, we'll send you a box of old skool candies!  We cant say more than that!

Unless you've had your head in the sand all your life. This should be a very similar screen.  What to do? Well just get round the whole maze eating the dots. In the corners are some bigger dots, which are pills.  They turn you into a foaming at the mouth ghost killer! The ghosts will be scared of you!  So you can kill them! But remember, you can't kill something that is already dead. So the 'killed' ghost will return to the centre and be out for revenge! 

That's it, once you've eaten all the dots on the game, you'll go onto the next level. Where you have to do it again, and again, and again :)  That's how it was back in our days lads!  That entertained us for hours!  

Anyway, enjoy! Tell all your mates that you've been playing pacman today. The real one! Not that rubbish one Google did a couple of years ago!

Showcase! Penguin Slice Valentine

At 3am this morning whilst dreaming I was Sonic the Hedgehog, I was interrupted by a phone call. "Is that Addicting Flash Arcade Games?  We've got it! You're going to love it, we've got Penguin Slice Valentine!"    Ooooh no, not another valentines day flash game!! What, did you say Penguin Slice? The very popular game out for the Iphone? The one that is just like Angry Birds?!  Rock and Roll!

You know you've got a good game when it takes a little while to load.

You know you've got a VERY good game when they even give you a mini game to play whilst its loading!

You know you've got something special when you get a random animation before the game starts!

Sorry for the long intro guys, but we present to you on Showcase,  Penguin Slice Valentine!!

We spent hours on Angry Bird and finished every single level. So we're very excited to see a clone with a slight difference.  Instead of launching anything. Your job is to use the mouse to slice away at some of the terrain, causing it collapse, causing the penguins to fall and to be squashed.  Easy huh?  Well not quite. Some terrain doesnt slash, and there are some innocent strange pig things with dummies in their mouths.  Kill one of those and you fail the level.  So before you get happy slashing, youre going to have to think pretty carefully about what will happen.

This game has tonnes of levels! Some you'll finish on the first attempt, some will keep you agitated for a while.  Like Angry Birds, if you go away, dont worry. It saves your progress automatically so you can jump straight back to the later levels. Dont forget to click the Add to Favorites on the top bar. Or even better, Share it with your friends on Facebook so they can play too.

The game does have some walkthroughs if you are completely stuck, however we did notice something that seems consistent throughout that you should know.   Gravity makes things fall downwards, ok got that?  Thats downwards because of Gravity.  Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine.   Oh and those pink baby pig things are delicate little souls, so look after them. 

Our only grievence with the game is the background sound, the penguins are constantly laughing at us.  So we tried using the mouse to just slice their heads off to shut them up. But sadly that wouldnt work.
